The San Diego Chargers signed Seyi Ajirotutu off the practice squad on Saturday. The undrafted rookie from Fresno State will be active for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots due to injuries to Malcom Floyd (hamstring) and Legedu Naanee (hamstring), both of whom are listed as doubtful.
Ajirotutu (6-foot-3, 211 lbs.), who played with Ryan Mathews in college, finished his Bulldog career with 128 catches for 1,991 yards and 12 touchdowns.
To make room for Ajirotutu on the active roster, the Chargers placed rookie LB Kion Wilson on injured-reserve with an ankle injury. Wilson was signed prior to Week 4 to help out on special teams and logged four tackles in his three weeks on the active roster.
