Things Heating Up for Kidsy

Elkins WR Darvin Kidsy has new offers

FOX Sports NEXT is in the streets this fall to bring you all the coverage from across the Midlands region. Recently, we got word that Missouri City Elkins wide receiver Darvin Kidsy had a great week as it pertains to recruiting…

It was late June when Missouri City (TX) Elkins wide receiver Darvin Kidsy decided that North Texas would be a great fit for him. Fast-forward to the present, that is still the case (his commitment and all), but several teams have jumped in to see if they can get him to possibly look into his other options.

And there are plenty of them.

"Darvin has gotten offers in the past week from Utah, Miami Ohio, Fresno State and Louisiana Lafayette," a family member told FOX Sports NEXT. "Things are heating up. He had an awesome season and the scouts are coming."

Word is the 6-foot, 175-pound Kidsy also has been hearing heavily from Illinois, Duke and TCU. This past season he hauled in 32 catches for 609 yards and 10 touchdowns. Kidsy was also productive in the kickoff return game as well.
