A BCS bowl is still a slight possibility for the Bulldogs, but Fresno State Head Coach Pat Hill already has January bowl game to look forward to.

Hill was selected Thursday to coach in the Hula Bowl. He will oppose West Virginia's Head Coach Rich Rodriguez in the contest. Rodriguez was selected last month to coach in the post-season all-star game.

The 61st annual Hula Bowl is scheduled for January 14, 2007 at 8:30 p.m. EST at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. ESPN will televise the all-star game.

This will be the second time Hill has been selected to coach in an all-star game. He was chosen as a replacement for Mike Price in the 2003 East-West Shrine Game. Price had to be replaced after he left Washington State to become the head coach at Alabama.
