Wright Named WAC Player of the Week

Fresno State running back Dwayne Wright was named the Western Athletic Conference offensive player of the week.

Wright, a senior from San Diego, Calif. (West Hills College), rushed for a school-record 295 yards and the game-winning touchdown in Fresno State’s 34-27 win at Louisiana Tech. Wright averaged 11.8 yards per rush on 25 carries and had 137 yards in the second quarter alone. His total was the second best by any running back in the nation this season.
