Via Radio, Blackman Will Decide 9/1

Carson (Calif.) QB Dominique Blackman took an unofficial visit to Fresno State last week and came away impressed. He shared the same feelings with our good friends at 1550 Sporting News Radio, who interviewed Blackman Monday morning.

Fresno's 1550 Sporting News Radio interviewed four-star Carson (Calif.) QB Dominique Blackman Monday morning. He is rated the 13th best quarterback in the nation according to Scout.com.

Blackman continued his praise of Fresno State Monday morning that he started Thursday night. He says he will decide on September 1 where he will play his college ball and will likely choose between Arizona, Fresno State, and Washington.

Blackman said Matt Scott's verbal commitment to Arizona has not changed his mind on Arizona, "I'm not afraid to compete," Blackman said. However, it was clear towards the end of the interview Fresno State has moved ahead of Arizona on his list.

Blackman says his trip to Washington will be the deciding factor. He says he wants to go to the school that will give him the best chance to play early, make him a better person, and where he can be the face of the program. Conference affiliations will have no impact on his decision. After he visits Seattle, wherever he feels comfortable will be his choice, he said.
