Travis Brown (6-1, 210) is a “man-child” to say the least. The son of Fresno State Defensive Coordinator Dan Brown totaled 147 tackles last season as a sophomore. He also forced seven fumbles and had two interceptions.

He was Fresno Sophomore of the Year in 2006. Moreover, he made the All-State Sophomore Team, was second-team All-Valley and first team All-CIF and All-City. If that is not enough, he is expected to be one of Beau Sweeney’s top targets this season at TE.

Brown has already received one offer and will attract more attention this fall. He was anxious to give his highlight DVD to BarkBoard.com. “Arizona offered me based off of it,” Brown said.

And we can see why.

He has stated Fresno State is his top school currently. It can only be expected the Bulldog coaching staff has an underlying offer for him to play for his dad. He is shown in action during the 2006 season; he is wearing #49 in the clips.
