ScoutTV: Golden Makes Full Circle

Edison (Fresno) CB Robert Golden has risen from the ranks of the unknown to the No. 1 CB in West, according to Scout.com. We caught up with him and got the latest news from the Arizona commit…

Robert Golden (5-11, 190) ran just a 4.9 forty at the Scout.com Combine in San Antonio back in January. However, the poor time did not affect his ability to shut-down receivers. He has risen to become one of the top cornerbacks in the nation.

Golden says his forty-time is in the high 4.4s. Moreover, he is set to make a full circle back to San Antonio in early January 2008 for the U.S. Army All-American Game.

We caught up with Golden Wednesday afternoon after practice as he prepares for the Tigers' season opener August 24 vs. Madera.
