South Valley Standout Visiting Fresno

South Valley player taking first official visit.

The South Valley has been good to Fresno State. Last year, Fresno State signed four players from the Bakersfield area including 2007 leading rusher Ryan Mathews. Two years ago, Fresno State signed Bakersfield native A.J. Jefferson, who was named First Team All-American by CFN this past season. This weekend another South Valley "AJ" makes his official visit to Fresno State, and he can do it all.

Bakersfield (Calif.) Highland Athlete Anthony Johnson (6-0, 170) is flying under the radar to say the least. "Cal Poly, Nevada, Sac State, and Fresno State are recruiting me," Johnson said.
