Cook Staying Close to Home

Federal Way (Wash.) Beamer HS OL/DL Evan Cook took an official visit to Fresno State this past weekend and picked up an official offer. In spite of this, Cook decided to pass on the Bulldogs to stay closer to home. He made his decision shortly after returning home from Fresno Sunday afternoon.

Evan Cook (6-4, 270) had an in-home visit from Fresno State Offensive Coordinator Jim McElwain earlier this month. Cook says the visit went well and he scheduled his official visit to Fresno for January 18-20. Coach McElwain was a leading candidate for the vacant head-coaching job at Eastern Washington.
