Seay Looks to Step Up His Game

The Fresno State Basketball season is just two games in, but the excitement of the 2008-09 campaign is high. If the ‘Dogs are going to continue to improve, they will need sustain play from forward Sylvester Seay. While Seay welcomes the great play from the standout freshmen, he realizes that he needs to step up his game…

Sylvester Seay says when he transferred to Fresno State from Arizona State last season, there was no other players expected to contribute in his class. Moreover, he says losing the seniors from last season made this year’s outlook bleak in terms of contributing talent. But with true freshmen Paul George and Mychal Ladd contributing already, Seay says it has taken the pressure of him but at the same time, he knows he needs to match their production.
