"I got that during the season around our sixth game," said Hill. "The coach came up to the school, and my coach had told me before that they were going to give me an offer. After that, I saw the [Arizona] coach at the school and said, ‘yeah, we're going to offer you.' The next day I got the paper in the mail saying they are going to give me a scholarship."
Hill says besides the Bruins and Trojans, California, Georgia, LSU, Florida State, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Michigan, Clemson, and Utah among others are recruiting him. He also has junior day invites to Cal, UGA, LSU, and Florida State.
How does Fresno State fit into the mix?
"I talked to the Fresno State coach a while back and they said they are going to be checking me out in the spring," said Hill.
The Bulldogs signed Hill's teammate J.B. Dock just a few weeks back. Dock verbally committed to Fresno State last November. And along with some of the other St. Bonaventure players that committed to FBS schools, they have been trying to recruit Hill.
"J.B. said come up to Fresno to play on the other side of him like we used to," said Hill.
Hill says he has no favorites but says Arizona, Georgia, Notre Dame, UCLA, and USC are sticking out right now. As a kid, Michigan was his favorite, and his brother (Taylor Hill) signed with the Wolverines. However, his brother transferred last year and with the recent coaching change, Michigan is not held in the same degree.
Hill reports a 2.2 core GPA. He will take the SAT for the first time on March 14.
