Spring Ball Day One Practice Notes

Head coach Pat Hill was enthusiastic about the first day of spring ball. The players got a bit scrappy in 11-on-11 drills. We can't recall that many fights on the first day of practice, let alone the first day of spring with no pads or hitting. With day one in the books, Coach Hill's stance of getting back to "Bulldog Football" looks like it is coming around…

"I liked the way we practiced," Coach Pat Hill said after practice. "We're going to be scrappy; we got to get that personality back…I liked their aggressiveness but we got a lot of teaching to do." Offensively, all eyes were on the quarterbacks. All four had their moments, but Derek Carr reminds us so much of David it's scary.
